ABOUT ALAINA.

Alaina Flesch is a passionate dancer and choreographer from Northern Kentucky. She began her dance journey at the age of three, training alongside her mother, which sparked a lifelong love for the art form. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, Alaina honed her skills at Planet Dance Cincinnati, where she received her pre-professional training under the guidance of Jennifer Rutherford, Missy Lay Zimmer, Andrew Hubbard, Lindsay Lancaster, and many others. In addition to her studies at Planet Dance, Alaina also trained at Gotta Dance Studios, where she worked for several years as an assistant, gaining valuable teaching experience. During her high school years, Alaina attended several summer intensives, including the Steps on Broadway Summer Intensive and the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive. Her dedication to her craft was also recognized when she attended Kentucky’s Governor’s School for the Arts in 2019, a prestigious program that further fueled her passion and commitment. These programs provided Alaina the opportunity to train with some of the best professionals in the industry, and it was during this time that she truly discovered her deep love for dance. These experiences solidified her desire to pursue dance professionally, deepening her commitment to the art form and inspiring her to fully dedicate herself to a career in movement and performance.

After high school, Alaina attended Marymount Manhattan College before transferring to Point Park University to complete her degree in dance. During her time in college, she has had the honor of working with esteemed choreographers, including Gabrielle Lamb, Matthew Neenan, Yoshiaki Nakano, Kevin and Marcel Wilson, Julia Erickson, and Norbert De La Cruz III. In her second year, Alaina was recognized with the "Outstanding Student of the Sophomore Class" award by the faculty of the Conservatory of Performing Arts, an acknowledgment of her talent, work ethic, and dedication.

Beyond the dance studio, Alaina cherishes spending time with her family and friends, particularly at the lake where she indulges in her love of boating and surfing. As she looks toward the future, she is excited to continue her artistic journey, exploring new creative opportunities and sharing her passion for dance with others. She is incredibly thankful to her teachers, mentors, and friends, whose unwavering support and guidance has been instrumental in shaping her into the artist she is today.
